About the Role
Taylor Stevenson is proud to be working with a well-established and continuously growing warehousing and logistics company. Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their Wrexham-based site.
This is a great opportunity for either an experienced Warehouse Manager or a strong Shift Manager / Senior Supervisor looking to step up into a more senior leadership role, with real responsibility and progression potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage warehouse operations, overseeing up to 3 teams across cold store environments (up to 60 staff)
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and service levels
- Oversee all distribution, warehousing, and shipping activities
- Maintain high standards of quality across all warehouse processes
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and best practices
- Forecast operational requirements, manage budgets, and schedule expenditures
- Develop and implement efficient product handling, storage systems, and warehouse layout improvements
- Manage stock control and inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Drive team performance through effective leadership, coaching, and development
- Analyse workflow processes and implement continuous improvements
- Work closely with internal teams, including transport, to ensure smooth operational flow
- Take a hands-on approach when required, supporting the team with duties such as loading/unloading and FLT operations
- Act as a front-facing leader, setting standards and leading by example on the warehouse floor
- Support the continued growth of the operation, with opportunities for progression within the role
Requirements
- Experience in a Warehouse Manager, Shift Manager, or Senior Supervisor role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
- Experience managing teams within a fast-paced environment (ideally 15–60 staff)
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant software
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards
- Ambition and capability to step into a more senior operational role
- Flexibility to adapt working hours when required
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required based on business needs)

- Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Wrexham or be willing to relocate prior to starting
