  • Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota

About You

  • Proven experience within a transport planning environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced transport operation
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • The ability to work as part of a small team
  • Flexibility to participate in the out-of-hours rota
  • Previous refrigerated transport experience would be advantageous

Working Pattern & On-Call

The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00am – 4:00pm, with exact hours to be confirmed.

As part of the role, you will participate in a shared out-of-hours rota:

  • Weekday nights: 1 week in 3, with a £30 allowance per night, regardless of whether calls are received
  • Weekends: 1 in 3, with one full day off in lieu

Salary & Benefits

  • £39,408 per annum
  • 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Annual bonus based on company performance
  • £30 per weekday night on-call allowance
  • One day off in lieu for weekend on-call
  • Opportunity to join a growing operation and play a key role in the development of its in-house container transport function

If you are an experienced Transport Planner with a strong background in container transport and are looking for your next opportunity within a growing operation, Taylor Stevenson would be keen to hear from you.
